TSCF 2025 Annual Review Meeting– Uyo, Akwa Ibom State

From June 6th to 7th, 2025 The Straight Child Foundation (TSCF) brought together 45 passionate Clinic Coordinators, MEAL Officers, administrative staff, and program support teams from across Nigeria for a transformative 2-day retreat in Uyo, themed “Supported Clubfoot Care: Impact Evaluation and Strategy to Maintain Quality.”

The retreat featured insightful sessions including:

Review of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

SWOT Analysis of clinic operations

SCAMPER brainstorming for sustainability

Research reviews and presentations

Breakout learning sessions

Child safeguarding sessionand CAST system updates

Awards presentations and celebrations

and many more…

A highpoint of the programme was a strategic courtesy visit to the Akwa-Ibom State Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Ekem Emmanuel John, who expressed strong support for the clubfoot programme and pledged government collaboration to reduce dropout rates and improve access to care.

We were also warmly received by the pioneer UUTH clubfoot clinic coordinator, Prof. Tim Nottidge, and his wife, whose hospitality added warmth to the experience.

This gathering not only strengthened our strategies but renewed our collective commitment to the mission: No Clubfoot Child Left Behind.
