Expanding Access to Quality Clubfoot Care

As part of The Straight Child Foundation’s efforts to expand access to quality clubfoot care across Nigeria, our Programme Coordinator, Uchenna Egbe-eni and Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital Clubfoot Clinic Coordinator, Dr. Nwokike paid a courtesy visit (coupled with fact finding) to Edo State University Teaching Hospital, Auchi.

During the visit, he met with the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Tijani Oseni, and members of the hospital management team. The clubfoot programme was formally introduced to them, and the hospital expressed strong willingness to partner with us in bringing hope and healing to children born with clubfoot in the region.

This partnership marks another important step in our mission to ensure that no child in Nigeria suffers from the burden of untreated clubfoot.
