Event Details
Date: Tuesday, October 6, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM
Venue: Queen Elizabeth Chapel Hall, Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia
The celebration will highlight four important areas necessary for improving outcomes for children with cerebral palsy:
- Awareness and advocacy
- Rehabilitation support
- Family and caregiver support
- Inclusion and equal opportunities
Children with cerebral palsy deserve opportunities to learn, participate, grow, and thrive within their families and communities. Early rehabilitation and sustained support can make a meaningful difference in their mobility, communication, independence, and overall quality of life.
This celebration is therefore more than an event. It is a call for individuals, families, institutions, healthcare professionals, and communities to become part of the change.
Together, we can create a brighter and more inclusive future for children with cerebral palsy.
