The Straight Child Foundation Hosts MiracleFeet WCA Team
The Straight Child Foundation (TSCF) was honored to host the MiracleFeet West and Central Africa (WCA) Team on a working visit to our organization!
We were delighted to welcome Agnes Mukamana-Nduguye, WCA Program Manager, and Seth Nutakor, WCA Grants Officer, who took time to visit key project sites and engage with various stakeholders.
Their visit included a tour of the FMC Umuahia Clubfoot Clinic, where they met with clinic support team members, patients, and parents of children undergoing treatment. They also visited the clubfoot gym, where children with clubfoot currently undergoing treatment participate in therapeutic exercises to support their recovery.
The WCA team held separate insightful meetings with TSCF staff and board members. During these sessions, they expressed deep appreciation for the impact TSCF is making in the clubfoot program. They commended our organization for meeting KPIs and advised on ways to further streamline activities for improved outcomes, especially in the areas of program implementation and financial management.
To round off the visit, TSCF hosted the team to a warm luncheon featuring indigenous cuisine, shared stories, laughter, and heartfelt conversations.
We sincerely appreciate the WCA team for this visit. Your encouragement, guidance, and support mean so much to us. Together, we will continue to walk hand in hand towards a world where no child suffers from untreated clubfoot.
