International Day of the Girl Child

Today, as the world celebrates the International Day of the Girl Child, we at The Straight Child Foundation (TSCF) reflect on the inspiring journeys of the girls we serve girls born with clubfoot and cerebral palsy, yet determined to rise beyond their challenges.

We’ve seen little girls who once struggled to take their first steps now walk confidently to school after successful treatment. We’ve seen mothers shed tears of joy as their daughters with CP achieve milestones through therapy and care. These are not just medical successes. They are stories of hope, courage, and equal opportunity.

Every girl, regardless of physical ability, deserves the chance to dream, learn, and thrive. TSCF remains committed to breaking barriers and building an inclusive world where every girl, with or without special abilities. Can live life to her fullest potential.
