Ponseti Refresher Training Course

On April 23, 2025, the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Umuahia Clubfoot Clinic hosted a comprehensive refresher course on clubfoot management, which combined foundational and advanced practices of the Ponseti method.

The training was facilitated by dedicated experts, including Dr. Chukwuka Udemezue, Dr. Uchenna Oluwatosin, and Mr. Aninyem Clet. They guided participants through hands-on sessions and theoretical models that covered every stage of clubfoot care. The course was designed to enhance the skills of existing team members while equipping new members with the knowledge and confidence to provide effective, life-changing treatment.
