On this week’s #ActivityFriday, we’re proud to highlight a significant step forward in our mission to ensure early detection and treatment of clubfoot in children across Abia State. ![]()

Thanks to our growing partnership with the Abia State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ABPHCDA), TSCF team members, Uche Egbe-Eni, Bright Amadi, and Oluyomi Wilson were honoured to facilitate a vital Early Detection and Referral (EDR) session during the Disease Surveillance and Notification Officers (DSNO) meeting.
DSNOs from all 17 Local Government Areas were present as we sensitised them on the risk factors and signs of clubfoot in children aged 0–5 years. Our goal? To empower these critical health operatives to use their wide-reaching networks to identify and refer affected children early so they can access free, effective treatment through TSCF-supported clinics. ![]()
This collaboration marks a major leap in community-level outreach, and we’re incredibly grateful to the Executive Secretary of Abia State PHCDA, the State Epidemiologist, and the Chairperson of the DSNOs for their unwavering support. ![]()
Together, we are building a future where no child is left behind due to clubfoot.
