Early Detection & Referral (EDR) Program – Ikom, Cross River State
At The Straight Child Foundation (TSCF), we believe that early detection and timely referral are crucial in ensuring children born with clubfoot receive life-changing treatment. This is why we organised an EDR training session at Comprehensive General Hospital, Ikom, Cross River State, to equip healthcare professionals with the right knowledge to identify and refer clubfoot cases early.
This program brought together the Officers in Charge (OICs) of various Primary Health Care (PHC) centres across Ikom LGA. Through our partnership with MiracleFeet, we are committed to strengthening the healthcare system by providing training, resources, and ongoing support to ensure no child is left untreated.
By empowering healthcare workers, we are expanding access to treatment and allowing children born with clubfoot to walk, run, and live a fulfilling life. We appreciate the dedication of these health professionals and their role in making a difference in their communities!
