2024 Meeting of the Parents Support Group for Cerebral Palsy

The Parents Support Group for Cerebral Palsy held a meeting today 28th September, 2024, where the Head of Department, Nutrition and Dietetics at FMC Umuahia, Mrs Solomon Confidence, led an insightful session on proper nutrition and adequate diet. Parents were educated on the importance of balanced meals to support their children’s growth, manage symptoms, and improve overall health. The session provided practical tips on meal planning, essential nutrients, and ways to address feeding challenges common in cerebral palsy care.

In attendance were parents and staff of FMC and Staff of The Straight Child Foundation, Led by the Co-Founder/CEO, Dr Peace Amaraegbulam.
