ACTIVITY FRIDAY

On 19th February 2025, the team from The Straight Child Foundation (TSCF) paid a strategic advocacy visit to the Executive Secretary of the Abia State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Kalu Ulu Kalu to discuss our upcoming “50 Surgeries for 50 Disabilities” initiative and seek support.

The meeting was both productive and encouraging. The Executive Secretary pledged his personal commitment as well as the support of the Agency toward the successful implementation of the programme.

This strong alignment underscores a shared vision of expanding access to quality, life-changing surgical care for persons living with disabilities across Abia State and its environs.

The TSCF delegation was led by our Chairman/Co-Founder, Dr. Peace Amaraegbulam, and included Oluyomi Wilson, Communication & Advocacy Officer, and Praise Analaba, Physiotherapist.

With partnerships like this, we move closer to restoring mobility, dignity, and hope — one surgery at a time.
