Oluyomi Wilson Bankole

Oluyomi Wilson Bankole is the Communication and Advocacy Officer at The Straight Child Foundation (TSCF). He holds a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and is currently concluding his PhD in the same field.

He has previously worked as a Community Engagement Officer with both ANPPCAN (African Network for the Prevention and Protection against Child Abuse and Neglect) and the Glovic Foundation, where he championed initiatives focused on child protection, community mobilization, and social inclusion.

Wilson holds certifications in Project Management, Humanitarian Information Management, Communications and Media, Leadership, Child Safeguarding and Protection, Public Health Research Ethics, and Implementation Research. He also has a Diploma in Education and is a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

He is passionate about using strategic communication, advocacy, and evidence-based interventions to drive policy change, strengthen community awareness, and promote the rights and well-being of children, especially those living with disabilities
