The Medical And Dental Consultant Association of Nigeria (MDCAN) Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Umuahia on the 19th of September 2021 held its Annual Award Event tagged -Medexa 2021- @ Rapha Hotels Ltd, Umuahia under the Chairmanship of Prof. M.O. Iwe, the Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture, Umudike with the chief host of the event Prof. Azubuike Onyebuchi and host of other dignitaries who graced the occasion.
The award which comprised of eight (8) categories with more than 30 nominees saw The Straight Child Foundation scooping the MEDICAL EXCELLENCE AWARD of MDCAN in the COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD category.
